My From Nothing to Something High-Heeled Sandals & My from Plain to Fab Black Sandals

Do you have some old shoes or sandals? And you are thinking to throw them away? You may want to think twice...

Imagine the picture above were like this before....

The original design was that the sandals have a white vamp and strap 

The insoles were originally brown but since they were wearing out especially the ones in the front and in the back, I painted them with orange and red nail polishes. However, after so many months, the nail polishes also worn out. So, I decided to just keep them for a while. 

But, last week, when I was cleaning my stuffs, I saw and opened the bag where I put all my old shoes and sandals. Some were still in good condition while some are not, and one of them is my pair of white sandals.

I was thinking to throw them away or donate them but I thought why not just decorate them. I then started to collect all the materials needed to transform them from nothing to something.

The materials I used:

old maong
pair of scissors
candle
matches
glue sticks
2 black buttons
accessories for the vamp

So the finished product is like this...

The vamp is covered with blue maong pants fabric topped with a light khaki strap (immovable) and a bling bling ( ornamented accessory).

The straps are also covered with maong pants fabric topped with a long strand of fabric ( the other side of the maong pants fabric) and a black button.

I also covered the linings of the sandals with the same fabric.

I was thinking of what fabric should I use so the only available was my old maong pants. I'm happy that it turned out fine.

I made the same with the other sandal...

 The straps and the insoles were just plain black.

The materials I used were....

small size red ribbon

a bigger size red ribbon

candle
glue stick
a pair of scissors
matches
bling bling ( any ornamented accessories)


So, from plain to fab!...

I hope that everyone can do the same not just with their shoes but perhaps with their dresses, bags, etc.

You are not just saving your money in buying your new stuffs but you are also making a favor to the environment as well.

You may also stand out from the crowd since your things are more personalized now. You can think of any designs you want. Put a little something there, add this and that, paint it with the color you love and charah!!! you now have your Personalized bags, shoes or clothes.
